BARL’s BARKFEST GUARANTEES TO BE A DOG-GONE GOOD TIME
The Brookhaven Animal Rescue League’s 2nd annual BARKFEST is gearing up to be a dog-gone good time. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. on the grounds of the Mississippi School of Arts campus in downtown Brookhaven.
Expect live entertainment throughout the day, games for kids, pet games, a dog show, various vendor’s booths, and lots of good food and refreshments.
In addition, BARL board members and volunteers are selling tickets for Chicken-on-a-Stick to be picked up during BARKFEST. Tickets are $8 each.
The idea for BARKFEST came about from the Mississippi School of the Arts BARK Klub’s desire to raise awareness of the work BARL does in the community.
BARKFEST is a family friendly, fun filled day celebrating rescued dogs and the people who love them. The whole family is invited to attend, including furry friends. All dogs must be on leashes.
