Rick Adams started doing the "radio thing" when he was in 11th grade at Pascagoula High School. He has't looked back since but likes hearing from his "goula" friends living here in Jackson and reminiscing about growing up on the coast.

Going through Hurricane Camille when Rick was only 6 years old prepared him in knowing what to say and what to do after Katrina to help listeners. He's still humbled how many listeners still thank Kim or him for Miss 103's on-air coverage after the Katrina.

Risk used to dream of working at MISS 103 when he was living in Laurel, back in the mid-80's. He had finished college at Southern (USM) and landing a couple of radio jobs in Laurel. He was amazed how awesome MISS 103 sounded everyday. It was his DREAM job.

Needless to say, when David Perkins called me up July of 1988 and said "Would you like to come work for MISS 103?", he started packing that night.

Now settled in Byram (God's Country) since 1990, he has found complete happiness. With four dogs, a big truck and a farm in Terry, "life's good"! Thanks to you and your continued support of MISS 103, Rick hopes to be able to share many more years of his crazy life with you!

Kim Allen was born an "army brat" in Fort Riley Kansas. She's lived in Georgia, Germany, Arizona, Alabama, Texas and Washington! Kim loves to travel, cook, walk her dogs, boat on the rez, jog and spend time with her husband, Kent and their three children.

She admits to vices including chocolate covered raisins, pizza, fritos with bean dip, any of the Real Housewives, shoes and purses.

Some of her favorite quotes are, "Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction", "Be happy for this moment, this moment is your life", "If not now, when", and "Invest in experiences, not things".

Her first job was selling Christmas trees at a nursery in Tucson because the job selling carnations on the street corner doesn't really count. Kim's most boring job was when she was telemarketer for a car dealership in Dothan, Alabama. It lasted 2 days. Even though she lives the radio, she admits that her dream job would be one where she got paid to travel.

Kim's favorite music includes Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Allison Krauss, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Keb Mo, Bonnie Raitt, and Ironing Board Sam.
